Andhra Pradesh & Karnataka Vacation

Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai
On your arrival at the Mumbai Airport, you will be welcomed by our tour representative with flowers after which you will be ushered to your pre-booked hotel. After making a check in, take some time to freshen up and get ready to visit one of the nearest markets. After shopping, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Mumbai
The day will start with a mouth watering breakfast before you proceed to a full day excursion of Mumbai. The excursion will start off with a visit to the Prince of Wales Museum, famous for its grand dome and Indo Saracenic style of architecture and its collection of art and history. Next, you will visit the world heritage site Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal and the famous Gateway of India, which is undoubtedly one of the grand structures in Mumbai. From Gateway of India, you will take a boat ride to another World Heritage site of Elephanta Caves. It will take around an hour to reach the island. After witnessing the historical site of Elephanta Caves you will head back for the mainland. Later in the evening, enjoy some rejuvenating moments on the lively beaches of the city and get the taste of delicious fast food and the specialties of Mumbai - paani puri and vada pau. Hereafter, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03: Mumbai - Hyderabad
Early in the morning, you will be dropped at Mumbai Airport to catch a flight to Hyderabad. On your arrival, after being greeted by our executive, you will be dropped at the hotel for a check in. After you freshen up, a splendid Hyderabadi breakfast will be waiting for you. Later on, get ready for a half day sightseeing tour of Hyderabad. The tour will begin with a visit to the famous Salar Jung Museum, boasting the largest one-man collection of antiques in the world. However, the masterpiece of the museum is Veiled Rebecca which one cannot afford to miss. The museum also has a weapons section and many paintings collected from different countries. Later, you will visit the Birla Temple, built up of white marble and on the hill top. After becoming one with the mesmerizing beauty of the presiding deity at the temple, which is 11 feet tall and made up of granite, you will head towards the mighty Golconda Fort. Here, along with the architectural beauty, you also will witness the Light and Sound show. Later in the evening, you will be driven back to your hotel for an overnight stay. Dinner will be served at the hotel itself.

Day 04: Hyderabad
Post breakfast, you will visit some of the major attractions of Hyderabad. You will start your full day tour with a visit to one of the largest film cities in Asia - Ramoji Film Studio. You will explore the city on a coach which has been specially arranged for tourists to provide an easy tour of the complete city with residential quarters, shopping malls, hospitals, theaters and everything that constitutes within. Next, you will visit the magnificent Charminar, situated right in the heart of the city and surrounded by lovely markets. The four attached minars are a masterpiece of architecture. Notice the large halls on the top floor which is used as a place for worship. The best time to visit the Charminar is in the evening, when it is completely illuminated. Another attraction is the markets near Charminar, which is the best place to shop for traditional jewelry and textiles. Walk through the busy market streets and get the feel of unique Hyderabadi charm. At night you will be driven back to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 05: Hyderabad
The day will start with special Hyderabadi breakfast, after which you will head for an elaborated sightseeing tour of the magnanimous Golconda Fort. The Fort is situated on the top of the hill; its position was an advantage of high grounds during wars. It was considered an impenetrable fort. The main attraction in the fort is the dome at the entry, which is famous for its acoustics effects. It is said and also observed that if you clap inside the dome, it can be heard right at the top of the hill. Hereafter, you will head towards Nehru Zoological Park and embark upon lion safari. The animals are kept in captivity, but in areas that hugely resemble their natural surroundings. Later, you will be driven to one of the best restaurants to dig your teeth in mouth watering Hyderabadi cuisine consisting of different biryanis and sea food. Post lunch; indulge in some shopping at the local markets. And in the evening, experience a refreshing cruise in the huge Husain Sagar Lake. After the cruise, you will be dropped back to the hotel for an overnight stay; dinner will be served here.

Day 06: Hyderabad - Vishakhapatnam - Tirupati
After a quick breakfast, you will head towards Hyderabad Airport to catch a flight to Visakhapatnam. On your arrival, you will be welcomed by our travel guide and accompanied to the hotel to keep the luggage and freshen up. Hereafter, you will proceed towards the major attraction of the city - the pristine beaches. These beaches are astoundingly beautiful and not at all crowded. Next, you will visit Kailasagiri - a hill top park. Here, you will notice the huge statues of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Apart from sightseeing, you will also have the option to indulge in adventure with gliding into open skies from the hill top. You will also visit the magnificent Titanic replica. Later on, visit the Vishakhapatnam port to observe the huge ships docking to the port. After exploring the beaches, you will head back to hotel for some rest after which you will be dropped, on time, at the Vishakhapatnam Railway Station to board one to Tirupati. Overnight will be in the train.

Day 07: Tirupati - Bengaluru
You will reach Tirupati early in the morning and on your arrival, our travel guide will meet and take you to the pre-booked lodge. After making a check in at the lodge, you will be taken for a sightseeing tour of the city. Tirupati is best known for its collection of temples. As non Hindus are not allowed to enter the temple premises; they can admire the splendid temple architecture from the outside itself. As Tirupati is situated on a hill, you can also opt for trekking to the top of the hill from its foothill called Gudur. Apart from this, you also have the option to explore the street markets which mainly sell religious and traditional items. From these markets, you can get yourself a miniature replica or poster of the Tirupati temple. Rest of the day will be at your leisure but at night, you will be dropped at the Tirupati Railway Station to board a train to Bengaluru.

Day 08: Bengaluru
On an early-morning arrival at the Bangalore Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our guide who will escort you to your hotel for a quick check in and an overnight stay. Post breakfast of delicious Karnataka cuisine, you will head for a full day sightseeing tour of the city. You will first visit the renowned Bangalore Palace where you will get to see the well kept and royal interiors of the ancient times. The second destination will be grand Vidhana Sabha, which truly is an authoritative structure. Next, you will be taken to visit Tipu Sultan's Fort and the beautiful Cubbon Park. Later in the evening, you will be dropped back at the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 09: Bengaluru - Mysore
Post breakfast, you will travel via road (3 hrs, 127 km) to the city of Mysore. On your arrival, you will be escorted to the hotel for check in and an overnight stay. Post lunch, you will leave the hotel for a half day sightseeing tour of Mysore. The main attractions include the Mysore Palace, St. Philomena's Church, Brindavan Gardens and Rail Museum. Each destination has some or the other inherent attractions that have made them immensely popular amongst the tourists. Later in the evening, you will be driven back to the hotel for dinner and night's rest.

Day 10: Mysore - Hospet
After a sumptuous breakfast in the morning, you will travel, via road (8 hrs, 300 km) to Hospet. En route, you will enjoy the various sites of hills, plateau's, waterfalls, flora and fauna. At your own convenience, you can halt in between, wherever you want. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay. Rest of the day will be at your leisure. Get in close with local culture by taking a walk in the market. Shop if you like. Later on, head back towards your hotel for night's rest. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 11: Hospet - Hampi - Hospet
Today you will visit the great ruins of the World Heritage Site at Hampi. In the morning, post breakfast, you will leave for Hampi (it will take you less than an hour). Shortly after your arrival, you will be taken to visit Vithala Temple; the most fascinating site at Hampi with complex carvings on walls and pillars. There is a hall with 56 pillars that are said to produce rhythmic sounds when tapped slowly. In the evening after witnessing the wonderful site at Hampi, you will be driven back to your hotel at Hospet for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Hospet - Badami - Hospet
Post breakfast, you will embark upon a full day excursion to Badami (2 hrs, 103 km). Here, you will visit the famous and most admired Badami Caves: four in total, out of which three are dedicated to Hindu Gods whereas the fourth is dedicated to Jain Gods. Notice the intricate carvings made on the walls and roofs that clearly suggest that they are religious in nature. After capturing the exuberant site of the caves in your camera, you will return to the Hospet for an overnight stay. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 13: Hospet - Mumbai
According to the flight timings, you will be dropped at the Bellary Airport, the nearest airport to Hospet, to board a flight to Bengaluru. At Bengaluru airport, you will be boarding on another flight, to Mumbai. On your arrival, you will be taken to the nearest hotel to the airport for a night's stay.

Day 14: Mumbai Departure
After morning meal, you will be dropped at the Mumbai International Airport, as per the flight timings for your onward journey.
